Disabled American Veterans get $20K raised from raffles at Green Bay Packers games

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – If you attended a Packers game these past few seasons, you may have noticed the Disabled American Veterans raffles at the Bart Starr Plaza Tailgate Party.

On Thursday, PMI Entertainment, which partners with the DAV, presented the Disabled American Veterans Organization with a check for over $20,000. This came from all of the money raised in the raffles throughout the past season.

“Our partnership with PMI over the years has helped many veterans in the community, and we help veterans through rent, car payments, utilities, and food,” said Matt Kempainen, DAV Green Bay Chapter Adjutant. “Anytime a veteran falls on hard times and needs assistance, we’re there for them.”

DAV expects to smash their goal of breaking this year’s mark with the same partnership with PMI next Packers season.
