‘Dirty Dancing’ duet: Trump, Clinton feel the love in spoof video

They had the time of their lives, apparently.

The second presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump on Sunday at Washington University in St. Louis was characterized, in part, by acrimony. Neither candidate was content to simply criticize the other’s policy proposals — instead, they went after each other personally.

Unlike the first presidential debate, Trump and Clinton did not even shake hands before going head-to-head.

But Lucky TV, a Dutch series of humorous videos, took it upon itself to inject the U.S. presidential election with bipartisan goodwill that’s been sorely lacking.

The Netherlands-based video editors spliced together clips from the heated town hall forum to make it appear as if the political foes were serenading each other.

Their short video of the politicians singing “(I’ve Had) the Time of My Life” from the 1987 romantic drama “Dirty Dancing” was uploaded on Monday and swiftly went viral.
