Dingdong Dantes: Marriage brought me maturity

The actor says that he became more attuned to making good movies since marrying Marian Rivera

30 May – Dingdong Dantes recently admitted that being married has not hindered his career at all, and instead made him more passionate about being a better actor.

As reported on Inquirer, the actor who spoke about his marriage with actress Marian Rivera during the promotional event for new movie, "Sid and Aya" recently, shared that his marriage has brought on a maturity in him that in turn made him more serious about his movie choices.

"Being married will make you grow as a person, and I am thankful for that," he added.

Dantes also admitted that being married to someone who is in the same industry also made his life a little easier as Rivera understands his passion for the movies.

"She is always there to support me. In fact, she's already seen the trailer and she was very much intrigued," he added.

As to whether he has faced any craziness in their marriage, Dantes said that the difficulties only made him more thankful and appreciative of what he has in his marriage.
