Diddy still mad about being overshadowed by Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction
On Watch What Happens Live, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs lamented his forgotten Super Bowl halftime show performance. Diddy performed alongside rapper Nelly at the Super Bowl XXXVIII (38) halftime show in 2004, and as luck would have it, that was the same year that Janet Jackson suffered her infamous wardrobe malfunction while performing with Justin Timberlake, exposing her right breast.
“First of all, I want to say that I’m still upset about that Super Bowl because I put, like, six months of my life into the preparation. And then nobody even knew I performed,” Diddy said.
Timberlake is set to perform at halftime of Super Bowl LII (52) on Feb. 4, and Combs gave his thoughts on the possibility of Jackson making an appearance.
“I think that would be great,” Diddy said. “It’s time to move on and I think she’s at a great place and the world just needs to get over it.”
