Jeremy Hunt’s Budget contained broad tax cuts for the working age population – and for landlords selling up additional properties.
While the Chancellor held back on radical reform he made changes that will affect the pay packets of millions of workers, mainly through cuts to National Insurance. Continued freezes to alcohol and fuel duty also helped drinkers and drivers.
