Did ‘Flip Or Flop’ Star Tarek Catch Christina Cheating On Him?
Amid growing rumors that "Flip Or Flop" stars Christina and Tarek El Moussa are planning to call off their divorce, new details about their troubled marriage have emerged. According to InTouch Weekly, which cited a source, Tarek caught Christina sending inappropriate texts to her rumored boyfriend Gary Anderson.
“Tarek saw Christina’s phone and believed there was some inappropriate texting going on between [the two],” the source said, adding that this allegedly led to their explosive fight, during which the father of two stormed out of the house with his gun.
Trouble between Christina and Tarek began after they hired Anderson as a contractor when they decided to redo their pool back in 2015.
“Christina grew close to Gary,” the insider told InTouch Weekly. “Tarek was suspicious that she was getting involved with someone but had no concrete evidence.”
The El Moussas apparently split in May 2016 after an altercation that involved a gun. Nearly a dozen police officers were dispatched to find Tarek, who fled into the woods to “blow off steam,” TMZ reported.
While announcing their split, the "Flip Or Flop" stars said, in a statement: “Neither of us was involved in a romantic relationship with any third party prior to our separation, or believes the other was.”
Meanwhile, an insider with HGTV network told InTouch Weekly that the network has threatened to take Christina and Tarek to court for breach of contract because they are “more profitable” as a marriage pair.
“This is getting really ugly,” the source reportedly said. “HGTV is livid with Tarek and Christina. Flip or Flop just won’t be the same if they’re not together, so execs desperately want them to reunite to save the show. If they can’t do that, the network wants to make it seem like they’re getting along, at least until their contract is over. They were given an ultimatum: Either finish out your contracts or we’ll take you to court [for breach of contract]. The network basically said, ‘You guys need to work together, be seen together as a family, walk down the street together.’”
Days after the news of their split surfaced, reports claimed that Tarek started dating his family's nanny Alyssa Logan.
“Yes, he dated a nanny,” an insider told People Magazine last month. “To be clear this was someone he hired to help when he had the kids after the separation. This was not the nanny they’ve had for years.” The source added: “Christina feels awful that people think it’s her nanny.”
