San Antonio (AFP) - French power forward Boris Diaw says he is re-signing with the National Basketball Association champion San Antonio Spurs.
The 2.03 metre (6-foot-8), 113 kilogram free-agent tweeted Sunday that he was remaining in San Antonio "for a few more years."
The US media reported the 32-year-old Diaw and the Spurs reached an agreement on a three-year, $22.5 million deal.
Diaw averaged 9.1 points and 4.1 rebounds in 79 games during his second full season with San Antonio.
He also had 9.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game in 23 playoff contests to help the Spurs beat the Miami Heat and win their fifth title in 16 years.
