Diamondbacks Mexican Heritage Night 2024: How Los DBacks plan on honoring Mexican fans
A ball game, freebies and live Mexican music? Fans can expect that and more this month as the Arizona Diamondbacks host their crowd-pleasing Mexican Heritage Night at Chase Field.
At least once a year, the DBacks host a night dedicated to their large Mexican fanbase, their way of showing their appreciation for all the support given to the team throughout the season.
The previous Mexican Heritage Night was held in September, during Hispanic Heritage Month and in celebration of Mexico's Independence Day. That year the Sonoran band Contacto Norte performed right after the game. This year, fans will get a chance to dance the night away with La Séptima Banda, from Culiacán, Sinaloa.
When is Mexican Heritage Night at Chase Field?
Mexican Heritage Night at Chase Field will take place Saturday, May 18, 2024, as the Arizona Diamondbacks face the Detroit Tigers.
Will there be any freebies?
Yup. The first 15,000 fans to enter the stadium will get a Mexican Flag Cap, which boasts DBacks' red and sand hues with an embroidered Mexican flag on the side.

What happens after the game?
As has become a custom during this celebration, a concert takes place after the game. This year, Sinaloan band La Séptima Banda will perform.
La Séptima Banda, from Culiacán, Sinaloa, pays tribute to the music from this northern state known as banda, a subgenre of Regional Mexican music. Formed in 1994, the 17-20-member band has for years been a fan favorite with hits like "Bonito y bello", "Se va muriendo mi alma" and "Yo sí me enamoré".
Do I need to buy a separate ticket for the concert?
No. Fans who purchase tickets to see the Diamondbacks play the Tigers can stay for the concert after the game, and have access to all activities inside the stadium.
Special game tickets that include field access during the concert start at $59.
VIP packages, which include access to the field and a meet and greet with La Séptima Banda, are sold out.
