Devon Energy names existing executive as COO
Devon Energy names Executive Vice President David Hager as its chief operating officer
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Devon Energy named David Hager as its chief operating officer Monday.
Hager, 56, has been Devon's executive vice president for exploration and production since 2009.
Tony Vaughn, 55, senior vice president for exploration and strategic services, will replace Hager. He joined Devon in 1999.
Shares of Devon Energy Corp., based in Oklahoma City, fell 64 cents to $56.21 in morning trading.
