Developing: Officer shoots at armed man in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS — An officer fired a gunshot at an armed man in the Baden neighborhood Wednesday morning. The incident happened in the 700 block of Ponce Avenue. Police say that the man has a knee injury, but it is still unclear whether a bullet struck him. Officers were initially called to the area to check on a report of an armed man inside a home with other people.

Link-in-bio startup Linktree said on Wednesday that it has surpassed 50 million users. The company has been growing consistently, adding nearly 10 million users (or Linkers, as Linktree calls them) in the span of just five months: In December, the company told TechCrunch that it had 41 million users, and it reported over 47 million users this March. Linktree is considered one of the top link-in-bio tools on the market, with its rivals owning a significantly smaller portion of the pie: competitor Later has around 7 million users, whereas Beacons has over 2 million.

Oyo, the once high-flying Indian budget hotel chain, has withdrawn its IPO application from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for the second time in a fresh blow to its already diminished ambitions. Paytm warns of job cuts as losses swell after RBI clampdown
Indian digital payments platform Paytm warned of job cuts on Wednesday after reporting that its net loss widened in the fourth quarter as it grapples with a recent regulatory clampdown. One 97 Communications, Paytm's parent, said it expects to cut employee expenses and pare down its annual costs on staff by $48 million to $60 million. India's central bank in February banned the company's banking partner and sister company, Paytm Payments Bank, from conducting banking activity from March.
