Developing: Ashley Park shooting victim has life-threatening injuries: Medic

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – An investigation is underway after a shooting in Ashley Park left a victim with life-threatening injuries, Charlotte Medic said Thursday.

Emergency personnel responded to calls regarding the incident midday Thursday near 2500 Westerly Hills Drive, just northwest of Uptown Charlotte. One victim was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was transported to an area medical center with life-threatening injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown at this time and Queen City News has a crew on scene working to learn more details.
