What dessert franchise is coming to Shreveport?

A frozen custard shop is coming to Shreveport in late May.

Andy's will be coming to Shreveport at the end of the month, according to Andy's Frozen Custard public relations. No exact date for its grand opening has been set at this time.

This new Shreveport location will be in the 5700 block of Youree Drive and marks the second location in northwest Louisiana and the eighth in the state.

Andy's has been serving fresh ingredients and frozen custard for more than 37 years, starting in Osage Beach, Miss. Today, Andy's is the largest dessert-only franchise in the world and can be found in 15 states and more than 145 locations.
