Deputies surround Sacramento residence for woman with machete, not her home

(FOX40.COM) — A woman was detained after she was barricaded inside a home that didn’t belong to her and was armed with a machete, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, SCSO said it responded to the 7800 block of Magnolia Avenue and surrounded the house. No one else was inside of the residence besides the woman. As of 5:40 p.m., deputies said they were still on the scene and attempting to “call her out.”

Around 5:45 p.m., officials said the woman was detained.
