Deputies shoot man who allegedly charged at them with weapon in Lyme

Apr. 27—CHAUMONT — A man was injured in an officer-involved shooting early Saturday morning.

A news release from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office states that deputies responded to a report of a domestic incident at 12840 Route 12E in Lyme. When deputies got on scene, they approached the residence on foot when a man ran towards them brandishing a weapon.
