Deputies looking for 1 who robbed teen at gunpoint

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Deputies are looking for the person who robbed a teenage girl at gunpoint early Friday morning in Holland Township.

Around 1 a.m., deputies with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office were sent to Leisure Estates-Village, located at 523 Butternut Dr, after receiving reports that a 14-year-old girl had been robbed at gunpoint.

She told deputies that the suspect had a pistol and took cash from her after she had made a TikTok video. She was not hurt.

A police dog was brought to the scene to try and track the suspect but did not find them.

The sheriff’s office said the suspect is described as a light-skinned Black male with a thin build, dreadlocks and a red neck tattoo. He wore a black jacket, jeans and a black face mask.
