Deputies investigate two drive-by shootings in Loranger

LORANGER, La. (WGNO) — Deputies with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office are investigating two drive-by shootings that happened two minutes apart in Loranger on Saturday, May 18.
The TPSO reported deputies responded to a report of a drive-by shooting on Highway 40 near the intersection at Highway 445 around 11:25 p.m.

TPSO officials said the victim was driving on Highway 40 when she saw a red car with tinted windows with its hazard lights on and pulled into the shoulder of the road to let it pass.
That’s when the victim told deputies the car slowed down, and an unidentified man shot at her.
Two minutes later, TPSO deputies said they responded to another report of a drive-by shooting on Highway 40 east of Highway 445.

According to the TPSO, the second victim was driving when an unidentified man standing next to a red car with its hazard lights on shot at her.
TPSO officials said no one was injured.
