Deputies need help finding missing, endangered man out of Weber Co. medical facility

WEBER COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — The Weber County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help finding a man who went missing after leaving a medical facility.

Myles Slater (Dwayne), 65, is approximately six feet tall with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen on Tuesday, March 5, wearing a blue shirt, blue jacket, and jeans at a Maverick gas station in Washington Terrace, deputies said.

Dwayne reportedly suffers from dementia and paranoid schizophrenia, along with multiple other conditions. At first contact, deputies said it is not always apparent that Dwayne has dementia.

“We urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward immediately,” the sheriff’s office said. “Your assistance could be crucial in bringing him back home safely.”
