Denver weather: Weekend storm to change sunny skies to rain and snow

DENVER (KDVR) — The stretch of above-normal temperatures in the 60s in Denver weather will continue into the start of the weekend. That will be followed by the return of rain showers on Sunday which will change to snow late on Sunday.

The Pinpoint Weather Team, Colorado’s Most Accurate Forecast, is tracking possible accumulation of heavy wet snow. The storm track is still in question and will impact final totals in the coming days. So, the totals shown here could change.

Weather tonight: Mostly cloudy and chilly

There will be a steady stream of clouds across Colorado overnight. There could even be a spotty snow shower in the mountains and a brief rain shower across the eastern plains. Temperatures overnight will range from the cold 20s in the mountains to chilly 30s along the Front Range and milder 40s to some western and southern areas.
