Denver weather: Warmer Thursday with an afternoon breeze
DENVER (KDVR) — Most of Colorado will see mainly sunny skies on Thursday with above-average highs and a brisk afternoon wind in the Denver weather forecast.

Thursday looks to be a warm day with highs along the Front Range nearing 80 degrees with 90s across the plains.

Winds will become breezy in the afternoon as clouds push into the high country. The central mountains could see some showers, mostly in the evening and into the early night.
Weather tonight: Clearing skies
Skies over Denver will clear of any evening clouds as winds become lighter. Overnight lows are below average and will feel crisp by Friday morning with temperatures in the low 40s.
Looking ahead: Holiday weekend storm chances
Friday starts off with sunshine, then clouds will slide in for the second half of the day. Highs on Friday are just below average in the lower 70s with the tiny chance for a shower.

Saturday starts the holiday weekend with the mid-70s, partly sunny skies and the chance for some evening storms.
Sunday also has some extra clouds with mild highs in the lower 70s and an even smaller chance for an evening shower.
Memorial Day looks to be dry with mainly sunny skies and seasonal highs in the middle 70s.
Tuesday bumps temperatures back to the 80-degree mark with plenty of sunshine and small storm chances.
Wednesday is very similar with partly cloudy skies, small storm chances and warm highs in the lower 80s.
