Denver weather: Warmer start to the week with more chances for showers

DENVER (KDVR) — Warmer weather is moving into Denver’s weather forecast for the start of the week, alongside more chance for showers and thunderstorms.

Weather tonight: Clearing, seasonal

Sunday evening, there will be a few more showers and thunderstorms. These will clear out through the night, and so will most of the clouds. Low temperatures will fall to the mid-40s, which is right in line with normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Morning sun, possible afternoon showers

Monday will start off with sunshine. Then, as high temperatures climb to the mid-70s, clouds will increase ahead of the chance for some afternoon and early evening showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Looking ahead: Soggy and cooler Wednesday

Tuesday will follow a similar pattern to Monday with morning sun, a high temperature in the mid-70s, and then an increasing chance for showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon and evening.

On Wednesday, a cold front will dip into the area, bringing in a more widespread chance for showers and cooler temperatures.

A warmer and drier pattern moves in by the end of the week and start of the weekend. More sunshine will aid in bringing highs back up to the 70s on Thursday, then close to 80 degrees on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
