Denver weather: Temperatures climb into the 80s before rain chances return

DENVER (KDVR) —  Sunshine and warmer weather are moving into Denver’s weather on Friday and most of the weekend, with temperatures climbing into the 80s some days ahead of the return of rain chances.

Weather tonight: Mainly clear

Thursday night will be mainly clear and mild. Low temperatures will fall near 50 degrees in the Denver metro area, which is about 5 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Sunny, warmer

Friday will be sunny and warmer. High temperatures will climb to the mid-80s, which is more than 10 degrees above normal for this time of year but still out of range from the record high of 91 degrees set in 1964.

Looking ahead: Warmer weekend, chance for showers

Saturday will start mainly sunny. The chance for showers and a few thunderstorms moves in Saturday afternoon and evening.

Sunday, sunshine returns to the forecast and will help to boost high temperatures into the 80s.
