Denver weather: Sunshine and warmer temperatures to end the workweek

DENVER (KDVR) — Warmer weather and sunshine move back into Denver’s weather forecast by the end of the week and into the weekend.

Weather tonight: Rain clearing

A few showers and thunderstorms will linger Wednesday evening into the early overnight hours, followed by clearing later. Temperatures will fall to the mid-40s, which is seasonal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Sunny, warmer

Thursday will be dry, sunny and warmer. High temperatures will climb to the mid-70s, which is a couple of degrees warmer than normal for this time of year.

Looking ahead: Weekend sunshine, warmer temperatures

Friday will be sunny and breezy with wind gusts around 25 mph at times in the Denver metro area. High temperatures will continue to rise to the lower 80s.

Saturday and Sunday will both start mainly sunny. This will aid in high temperatures reaching around 80 degrees. On both days, a few more clouds will build in by the afternoon, with a slight chance for afternoon showers to the south.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will return to the familiar spring pattern of morning sunshine, an afternoon chance for a shower and highs in the 70s.
