Denver weather: Sunny before rain, storm chances return

DENVER (KDVR) — More sunshine and cooler temperatures move into Denver’s weather forecast Friday ahead of the chance for showers through the Memorial Day weekend.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy, breezy

Thursday night will stay partly cloudy and breezy. Low temperatures will fall to 40 degrees, which is a little more than 5 degrees below normal for this time of year.

Weather tomorrow: Increasing clouds

Friday will start with plenty of sunshine. Clouds will increase by the afternoon as high temperatures climb to 70 degrees.

Looking ahead: Shower, storm chances

Saturday will start partly sunny. As temperatures climb to the mid-70s, there will be a chance for afternoon and evening showers and a few thunderstorms.

There will be a similar setup on Sunday with morning sunshine, a high in the mid-70s and a slight chance for an afternoon shower. Memorial Day will be the pick day of the weekend with sunshine and a high in the mid-70s.
