Weather tonight: Mountain snow and cold

There will be a few mountain snow showers that will end shortly after sunset. Skies will be mostly clear across metro Denver and the Front Range. Temperatures will be cold again, with lots of 20s and 30s overnight.

Weather tomorrow: Mild with sunny skies

Wednesday will look very similar to Tuesday in metro Denver with morning sunshine and a few passing late-day clouds. There could be some mountain snow showers again over the highest peaks with little accumulation possible.

It will be mild again with afternoon highs above normal across the state.

Looking ahead: Tracking rain, snow chances

The dry and mild stretch looks to end on Sunday with an approaching cold front. The Pinpoint Weather team expects increasing clouds followed by rain showers later in the day.

The rain will mix with or change to snow showers overnight into early Monday before ending. It is possible that snow could accumulate, but the best chance right now looks to be across the foothills and mountains west of Denver.
