Denver weather: Slower winds Wednesday before unsettled pattern into weekend
DENVER (KDVR) — After a cooler start to the day and some early sunshine on Wednesday, there will be extra clouds in the afternoon as highs hit 60 degrees and winds lighten up in the Denver weather forecast.

Clouds will increase through the afternoon as highs hit the 60-degree mark. Winds could be brisk during the day, but not nearly as breezy as the past few days.
Weather tonight: Cloudy skies
Clouds from Wednesday will stick around through the night as lows dip into the middle 30s. Winds will be lighter through the overnight hours and pick back up through Thursday.
Looking ahead: Scattered shower chances
Thursday will be cooler and cloudy as a system pushes through. Light snow is possible along the foothills from the morning through the overnight hours.
The metro area could see a spotty shower Thursday morning, but chances are better later in the day. Rain is expected south of the metro through the evening and overnight hours. Highs on Thursday are cooler in the middle 60s.

Friday has partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 60s.
Saturday starts the weekend with partly cloudy skies, highs in the low 70s and a very small chance for a shower.
Sunday has spotty showers and possible storms as more clouds move in. Highs will be in the middle 70s.
Monday and Tuesday are mild in the middle 70s with extra clouds and chances for afternoon storms.
