DENVER (KDVR) – Denver will enjoy mainly sunny skies on Thursday, but temperatures will be cooler than Wednesday after a cold front last night.

Thursday will have mainly sunny skies across the Front Range with slightly cooler highs in the low 60s. Winds are light for most of the day with a small chance for a spotty shower, mostly in the plains.

There will be some extra clouds overnight as winds stay light. Thursday’s low temperature will be just above average, around the 40-degree mark.
Looking ahead: Warming weekend
Friday rounds out the workweek with mainly sunny skies and an increasing wind. Highs on Friday will be seasonal in the middle 60s with the chance for a spotty shower.
Saturday kicks off the weekend with partly to mainly sunny skies. Highs on Saturday will make it to the upper 60s as the wind picks up in the afternoon.
Sunday also has a mix of sun and clouds with warm highs in the upper 70s and a brisk wind.
Monday starts the next workweek with partly cloudy skies, highs in the middle 60s and the chance for a quick shower.
The mountains look to get better chances of moisture on Monday.
