DENVER (KDVR) — Wednesday will have extra clouds and just below-average highs in the Denver weather forecast as afternoon and evening storms form along the Front Range and plains.
Weather today: Stormy and cooler
Extra clouds linger through the middle of the week with cooler and just below-average highs in the middle 60s.

Winds could pick up by Wednesday afternoon as storms form along the Front Range and push into the plains this evening.
Weather tonight: Clearing skies
Any remaining storms or showers will push out of the area by Wednesday night as the clouds also exit. Winds will be slower overnight with seasonal lows in the middle 40s.
Looking ahead: Drying and warming into weekend
Thursday brings more sunshine back into the forecast as temperatures climb into the middle 70s.
Temperatures continue to climb by Friday afternoon with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 80s.

The weekend looks pleasant with mainly sunny skies on Saturday and highs in the lower 80s. Sunday has a few extra clouds with highs in the upper 70s and the chance for an evening storm.
Monday starts the next workweek with cloudy skies, highs in the upper 70s and chances for spotty showers.
Tuesday has more sunshine and a small chance for a shower as highs are seasonal in the lower 70s.
