Denver weather: Rain, snow and colder temperatures to start the workweek

DENVER (KDVR) — Showers move into Denver’s weather Sunday night into Monday, ahead of a warming as the workweek gets going.

Denver has yet to hit 70 degrees in 2024 — it’s historically late

Weather tonight: Rain and snow showers

Sunday evening, clouds will thicken up ahead of overnight rain showers. These showers will start to mix with snow in the early hours of Monday morning as lows drop to the mid-30s.

Weather tomorrow: Showers, cooler

Scattered showers will stick around on Monday. Temperatures will be much cooler, only reaching a high in the mid-40s.

Looking ahead: Sunshine, warmer

Tuesday, sunshine returns to the forecast. Temperatures will be about 5 degrees cooler than normal, only reaching a high in the mid-50s.

This will be followed by more sunshine and warm temperatures.

Highs on Wednesday will climb to the mid to upper 60s, and then Denver is on track for the first 70 degrees day of the year by Thursday.

This pattern of sunshine and warm temperatures will continue for the Rockies home opener on Friday.
