Denver weather: Nice start to week before heavy snow, Pinpoint Weather Alert Day
DENVER (KDVR) — Denver’s weather remains mild on Monday with high temperatures in the middle to lower 60s.
The next system arrives on Wednesday into Thursday and could bring a good amount of snowfall to the metro area, which is why a Pinpoint Weather Alert Day has been issued for Thursday.
Weather today: Increasing clouds, warm
Partly cloudy skies dominate the area on Monday with high temperatures in the middle to lower 60s. This is about 10 degrees above average for this time of the year.

It could be breezy at times with winds coming out of the southwest at 5-15 mph.
Weather tonight: Partly cloudy and mild
Clouds stick around on Monday evening and into early Tuesday morning.
Overnight low temperatures are forecast to sink into the middle to lower 30s with winds out of the northeast from 5-10 mph.
Looking ahead: Mild Tuesday ahead of rain and snow
Tuesday will be mild again with sunshine and a high in the 60s.
The next big change moves in on Wednesday. As a cold front moves into the area, snow showers will start in the mountains and spill down into the metro as rain. Rain will mix and then change over to snowfall, which could be heavy at times.
