Denver weather: Mountain snow impacting travel on I-70

DENVER (KDVR) — Light morning snow will taper off by midday on Friday with cooler temperatures and cloudy skies in the Denver weather forecast.

Snow will linger over the foothills through the evening hours with an additional 1-4 inches of accumulation. A winter weather advisory will remain in effect through 5 p.m. on Friday.

Temperatures will climb quickly over the weekend with abundant sunshine.

Highs on Saturday will make it into the middle 50s, and Denver could get into the low 60s by Sunday.

Wednesday will have clouds increasing throughout the day with highs in the low 50s. Rain is possible later in the day, before turning into snow overnight.

Snow looks to linger through Thursday with falling temperatures. Highs near midnight will be in the low 40s. This could bring some decent snowfall totals to the Front Range.
