DENVER (KDVR) — Denver’s weather will have cloudy skies on Thursday with cool temperatures and spotty shower chances.

Mostly cloudy skies will linger all day Thursday, with spotty rain showers in the city and more consistent snow in the higher elevations.

Temperatures will be cooler and struggle to get into the middle 50s, as winds will be a little lighter.
Winter weather advisories are in effect starting at 3 p.m. Thursday and lasting through noon on Friday. Advisories to the south go into effect at noon Thursday and expire a few hours later.
Around Interstate 70 could see 6 to 12 inches of snow and the Sangre de Cristo mountains could see 10 to 14 inches of snow, especially above 8,500 feet.

Friday finishes off the workweek with cloudy skies and cool highs in the upper 50s. Denver could see a shower in the morning and a possible storm on Friday afternoon.
The weekend begins with extra clouds lingering around. Highs on Saturday are more seasonal in the upper 60s with spotty showers.
