DENVER (KDVR) — Denver’s weather will end the week and head into the weekend with above-average highs, brisk winds and a chance for some spotty showers.
Weather today: Comfy and breezy
Friday will have mainly sunny skies with a few clouds later in the afternoon.

Winds will also increase and become breezy through the second half of the day as highs hit the low 70s. There is a chance for some storms across the plains later in the day.
Weather tonight: Partly cloudy
Denver will add some extra clouds Friday night as lows dip into the middle 30s.
It’ll feel cooler Friday night as temperatures get to seasonal lows, but at least the wind will become lighter.
Looking ahead: Warming weekend
The weekend begins with partly to mainly sunny skies and mild highs in the middle 60s. Denver could see a spotty storm Saturday afternoon or evening.

Extra clouds stick around on Sunday with a breezy wind and warm highs in the upper 70s.
Moisture moves in overnight Sunday, and Denver could see rain while the higher elevations could see snow showers.
That precipitation should wrap up through the day on Monday as the Front Range has partly cloudy skies and highs in the middle 60s. There is a small chance of a shower on Monday afternoon.
Tuesday is back to mainly sunny skies with a brisk wind and highs in the middle 60s. Wednesday keeps it feeling comfy with the mid-60s and plenty of sunshine.
Thursday will have partly cloudy skies with late shower chances and below-average highs in the low 60s.
