Denver weather: Breezy start to the weekend with more shower chances

DENVER (KDVR) — Breezy conditions and the chance for more showers stick around Denver’s weather through the weekend.

Weather tonight: Breezy, clearing

Friday night, showers will clear, but breezy conditions will stick around. Wind speeds will calm from 15-25 mph in the evening to 5-15 mph, with gusts around 40 mph at times.

Temperatures will be slightly cooler than normal, falling to the mid-30s.

Weather tomorrow: Breezy, chance for showers

Saturday, Denver will continue that pattern of morning sunshine, increasing clouds through the afternoon and the chance for showers by Saturday afternoon and evening. There will be a southerly breeze.

Saturday will be cooler but seasonal, with a high in the mid-60s.

Looking ahead: Warm Sunday, cooler workweek

Sunday will be windy and warmer. Wind gusts will reach 45 mph in the metro. This strong southerly breeze will aid in bringing high temperatures up to the mid to upper 70s.

Monday will be cooler and windy, with a slight chance for showers. High temperatures Monday will reach the mid-60s, just a few degrees below normal.

Sunny and mild conditions are in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of another chance for showers on Thursday and Friday.
