Denver weather: 60s, sunshine and a quick shower to end the week

DENVER (KDVR) – As clouds increase over the high country, Denver will see a mix of sun and clouds with comfortable highs in the 60s on Thursday.

The Front Range will see a mix of sun and clouds on Thursday with a breeze picking up in the afternoon.

Highs will make it to the lower 60s. Clouds will increase over the mountains with the chance for light snow to begin in the evening hours.

Weather tonight: Chilly night

Snow will continue in the mountains overnight on Thursday with partly cloudy skies along the Front Range. Winds will slow approaching midnight with lows dipping to the lower 30s.

Looking ahead: Quick shower chances

Friday will also have partly cloudy skies over the metro area with seasonal highs around 60 degrees.

As light snow stays in the mountains all day, Denver could see a quick rain shower in the afternoon or evening.

Sunshine is back for Saturday afternoon with highs in the middle 60s. Mountain snow lingers all weekend with plenty of fresh powder for the ski areas.
