Denver police investigate deadly shooting near Colfax and Spruce

DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Police Department is investigating a shooting near the area of Colfax Street and Spruce Avenue that left one person dead.

Denver Police tweeted about the incident just after 8 p.m. Wednesday. At the time, the person was taken to the hospital with an unknown extent of injuries.

Police investigating shooting at converted homeless shelter in northeast Denver

About an hour later, the police tweeted that the victim was an adult male and he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing with no arrests at this time.
