GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The Denver Broncos upset the Kansas City Chiefs 24-9 at Empower Field at Mile High for the first time in over 8 long years.

The Broncos looked fired up in this one forcing the Chiefs to turnover the ball five times. Russell Wilson looked efficient with zero turnovers and all three touchdowns in this game.

Peyton Manning was Denver’s QB the last time they beat Kansas City all the way back in 2015. Most Broncos fans have been upset with how the season is going at a 3-5 record, but it’s safe to say they’ll be excited about this meaningful rivalry victory.

The Denver Broncos have a bye this upcoming week, followed by showdown with the Buffalo Bills in Upstate New York on November 13th.
