Dems to honor community leader at annual Spring dinner

Mar. 1—NORTHUMBERLAND — The Democratic Committee of Northumberland County will honor the late Gerry Gold on Mar. 23, at its annual Spring Dinner, held at Front Street Station. Gold will receive a posthumous special award named after him: the Gerry Gold Community Service Award.

Gold was known for his dedication to serving the Northumberland County community. His tireless efforts and commitment to making the community a better place have inspired the Democratic Committee to honor his memory by creating an award in his name. Chairman John J Merchlinsky III of the Northumberland County PA Democratic Committee said, "Gerry Gold embodied the spirit of community service."
