DeMarcus Cousins helped off the court with Achilles tendon injury
New Orleans Pelicans big man DeMarcus Cousins had to be helped off the court after suffering what head coach Alvin Gentry called an Achilles tendon injury Friday night.

He went to the floor late in the Pelicans’ 115-113 win over Houston Rockets and could not put pressure on his left leg while being helped off the court.
Sources told Yahoo Sports’ Shams Charania after the game that Cousins suffered an Achilles tendon tear.
