Delta County Sheriff confirms cause of death for a missing Fruita woman
The coroner ruled Bartolo’s death an accident due to drug intoxication and exposure to the cold weather. Although her death was ruled an accident, her death is still under investigation due to the suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Samantha Bartolo, a 40-year-old mom of two from Fruita went missing in November 2023.
She was last seen walking down H-75 road in Delta after arguing with her boyfriend David Bement. This February, a sheep herder in Delta found Bartolo’s body off the same road.
