    It looks sweet and innocent

But don’t be fooled. This “new baby” greeting card is even more hilariously evil than glitter-bombing your enemies. The project hit its $10,000 Kickstarter goal on its first day back in November, and hit $30,000 by the time it finished in December. It looks so sweet and innocent. But don’t be fooled.

This “new baby” card — one of seven designs now available for preorder from Kickstarter-funded company Joker Greeting — is more fiendishly funny than glitter-bombing your enemies.

We’re highlighting the company’s baby card because it is by far its most evil design — to the point of cruelty. But Joker Greeting also has birthday, thank-you, sorry, congratulations, and two “thinking of you” cards that are all horribly amusing in their own ways.

So you can pretty much pwn all of your friends on every important milestone in life.

Here’s the blow-by-blow of the baby shower card for your enjoyment:

On the outside, fancy script reads, “A baby is God’s sweetest gift” above a photo of a cherubic, sleeping newborn. So far, it’s a typical sappy baby card.

    But wait.

Open it and you’re greeted with text that says, “The gift that keeps on giving.” There’s space for a message too.

    So far, so good.

There’s also a tempting little button to press, which your unknowing victim will undoubtedly do. And when he or she does, the card plays the sound of a crying baby.

And not just hiccupy, soft baby sobs, but harsh, scream-filled, angry cries.

And it’ll keep playing. For at least three hours. Without stopping.

Close the card and the crying continues. Push the button again and the crying gets louder. Keep pushing the button and it increases in volume up to four times! The crying continues until the card’s batteries run out or the victim destroys the card.

And FYI, destroying it is tough — Joker Greeting has a video showing one of its other trick cards still working after being dunked in water twice.

This card, and the entire collection, is available now for preorder to ship in March.

So. Which of your friends are having babies this spring? Birthdays? Graduations? They have no idea what’s coming in the mail.
