DeLand High School seniors celebrate graduation at the Ocean Center
DeLand High School seniors turned their tassels and celebrated as the Class of 2024 Tuesday night at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach.
Of the 623 graduates, 86 received scholar designations; 393 received industry scholar designations; 37 received the Florida Seal of Biliteracy; 27 earned an associate degree; and one earned a bachelor's degree.
Nineteen students are entering the military.
The senior class as a whole earned 41,916 hours of community service and $4.5 million in scholarships.
