Defend champ Yuna Kim taking Olympics like a job

SOCHI, Russia (AP) — Defending champion Yuna Kim of South Korea seems to be approaching these Olympics like a job.

Her business-like approach at practice Sunday in the Iceberg was not particularly satisfying for the 2010 women's figure skating gold medalist. She said through a translator that the ice was "not good" and she had trouble getting comfortable with it.

Despite that, she also landed nearly every jump during warmups, although she popped a triple lutz during her run-through. After her music stopped, Kim landed the jump twice.

She didn't do her complete long program in the session, skipping many of the later portions of the routine. She said afterward that there were no "special problems in my preparation."
