DeepState military analyst comments on Ukrainian aviation's destruction of Russian soldiers
A video of an air strike on a cluster of Russian troops in Krasnohorivka was published by the Khortytsia operational and strategic troop grouping on April 14.
Roman Pohorilyi, co-founder and analyst of the DeepState platform, commented on the destruction by Ukrainian aviation of Russian soldiers trying to advance in Donetsk Oblast in an interview with Radio NV.
"Air strikes. Yes, two can play at that game," Pohorilyi said.
“Indeed, one could often see this, in particular, on the southern outskirts (of Krasnohorivka - ed.) - Muscovites who tried to gain a foothold in buildings were destroyed there. They were simply wiped off the face of the earth because they had to be destroyed.”
Eastern front situation
The situation on the eastern front has worsened significantly, reported Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, on April 13.

Further reports from the DeepState monitoring portal on the same day indicated that Russian forces had taken the village of Bohdanivka and made advances near Chasiv Yar. However, the Defense Ministry has refuted claims that Bohdanivka has been occupied.
General Syrskyi later disclosed that the Russian military leadership is pressing its forces to secure Chasiv Yar in Donetsk Oblast by May 9.
Russian forces are making “attempts to capture the village of Ivanivske and the outskirts of Bohdanivka at any cost” in an attempt to break through to the town of Chasiv Yar in Donetsk Oblast, Nazar Voloshyn, a spokesman for the Khortytsia operational and strategic troop grouping, said on April 23.
He previously reported that about 20,000-25,000 Russian soldiers were attempting to storm Chasiv Yar and the surrounding areas.
Russian invasion forces are trying to gain a foothold in the southern part of Ocheretyne, but Ukrainian defenders still control most of the village, Voloshyn said on April 23. According to the U.S.-based Institute for the Study of War, Russians did plant a Russian flag in Ocheretyne, but did not completely capture the settlement.

According to ISW, overnight on April 24- 25, Russia managed to completely seize Novobakhmutivka. At the same time, Russian sources claimed that on April 25, Russian troops completely seized Solovyove and overnight on April 24-25 advanced to a depth of two kilometers in the eastern part of Novokalynove (a village northwest of Avdiivka).
