You can decide what local students’ artwork appears on Las Vegas’ Sphere

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — It’s a first for the Sphere and a first for the public who will have the opportunity to decide what appears on the Sphere’s Exosphere by voting on artwork created by local students.

“It’s just amazing we can bring that community together to celebrate this venue as a whole, said Jennifer Koester,” Sphere Entertainment. “The talent and creativity of all of the local students who participated in the Sphere XO Student Design Challenge is remarkable”

The Sphere collaborated with Clark County School District and more than 100,000 students were invited to create art themed around the Fourth of July. There were more than 100 finalists from elementary school, middle school, high school, and UNLV. Now, the public can view those entries and vote on one entry from each of the four student groups.
