Victim count of Russian missile strike on Kyiv rises to ten

The number of people injured in the Pecherskyi district as a result of the Russian missile strike on Kyiv, has increased to ten, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported on his Telegram on March 25.

The number of people injured in the Pecherskyi district as a result of the Russian missile strike on Kyiv has increased to ten, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported in his Telegram on March 25.

According to Klitschko, two of the victims were hospitalized.

"Currently, one victim remains in the hospital, while the other, a 16-year-old girl, has already been discharged,” Klitschko said. “Other victims were treated on the spot."

Missile attack on Kyiv on March 25: what is known

On March 25, almost simultaneously with the announcement of the air alert, explosions were heard in Kyiv.

The commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, stated that Ukrainian air defense destroyed two ballistic missiles over Kyiv that Russia had launched from Crimea. Their type is being identified.

In the Holosiivskyi district, missile fragments were found in a forest belt. A multi-storey building was damaged in Solomyansky district. A rocket fragment also hit a private house in Osokorky.

In the Pecherskyi district of Kyiv, a downed missile destroyed a three-story gym building. According to the State Emergency Service, there may be people under the rubble of the gym.
