Death List website has predicted which celebrities will die in 2018

A rather morbid website, aptly named Death List, has released its predictions for which celebrities will die in 2018, with the site beating its own record of correctly predicted deaths last year.

The 17 out of 50 correct guesses of 2017 included Bruce Forsyth, Hugh Hefner, and Peter Sallis.

The website has been running since 1987 and there is method to the madness, with one of the strict rules that the list adheres to being that only 25 people from the previous year can feature in the new list.

Actor Kirk Douglas, 101, has featured on the list for the past 16 years and is at the top of 2018 predictions, with other celebrities predicted to pass away in 2018 including 97-year-old Prince Philip, 59-year-old Linda Nolan, and 96-year-old Marvel comic book writer Stan Lee.

The youngest on the list is 51-year-old Paul Gascoigne, with other notable names including 91-year-old EastEnders’ legend June Brown, 88-year-old Sean Connery, 76-year-old Stephen Hawking, and 71-year-old Ronnie Wood.

Prior to last year, Death List’s record was 14 out of 50 correct predictions in 2003, 2008, and 2015, although in both 1988 and 1991 the site failed to make one correct guess.
