Dead body recovered from French Gulch Boat Ramp in Lake Isabella
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern County Sheriff’s deputies recovered a dead person from a Lake Isabella boat launch on Thursday evening.
On May 23, sheriffs responded to reports of a person in the water at the French Gulch boat launch in Lake Isabella. Around 7:30 p.m., a viewer witnessed the victim being pulled out of the water and reported it to 17 News.
After medical aid was administered, the victim was pronounced dead on scene, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
It is unclear what caused this fatal incident. This is an active investigation and we will provide you with further details when they are released.
