DC police: Man found shot, not breathing in Northeast

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police said a man was shot in Northeast Tuesday night.

Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officers responded to a shooting in the 1500 block of North Capitol St. There, they found a man who had been shot in the shoulder and neck area.

He was unconscious and not breathing, according to MPD.

MPD said to look out for a short male who was wearing all black clothing. He was last seen running eastbound towards Florida Ave. in Northeast.
