Ever wonder what would happen if David Letterman didn't have an in-studio audience for the Late Show?

Even with Hurricane Sandy heading toward New York City, where the show is recorded, and the rest of the Northeast, Letterman still taped his show, to be broadcast on Monday night.

The hitch? There was no audience, just his crew and other staff.
