A park in Davenport park now tells a story.
Davenport Parks and Recreation and FRIENDS of the Davenport Public Library cut the ribbon on its first StoryWalk at Lafayette Park on W. 4th St. StoryWalk is a national campaign to inspire people to visit nature while reading a story along the paths.
The first story to be part of it is ‘The Gem.’ The stories will change every three to six months.
